Hey my name is Fern!
I’m a photographer and actor with a long-standing love of vintage clothing and visual storytelling. My work centres on personality, creating images that feel like you rather than a version shaped to fit a mould.
I tailor each shoot to the person in front of the camera, whether that means building ideas together through styling, props, and moodboarding, or stepping in to shape the shoot when direction is needed. The aim is always the same: thoughtful, aesthetically driven images that let personality come through naturally.
Why I do this
I’ve been drawn to photography since my teens, after picking up my first camera at fourteen. What began as creating photoshoots with friends quickly grew into a love of building worlds through fashion, styling, and sets, shaping images that felt considered rather than accidental.
How I work
Collaboration sits at the centre of my work. I take time to talk through colour palettes, tone, and how images will be used across social media, websites, or personal projects. My pricing is designed to be fair and straightforward, with a strong set of final images included and no inflated costs for extra edits.
Fun Facts about me
I collect hats! And its very rare to see me without some kind of hat on. I am obsessed with leopard print this often shows up in my self portraiture work. I am also an actress and have been since I was 10 years old!
